Installation:

  • Delivered covered to prevent concrete from seeping into the drain during casting.
  • Spacer strips are included on the adhesion flanges for resin floors.
  • Sturdy mounting ears for different anchoring in the joist are included.
  • Fixtures and adjustable legs for easy installation and height adjustment are offered. See Installation Accessories section.
  • K3 For areas without traffic. Tested acc. to EN 1253-1 with 2 kN load.
  • L15 For areas with light weight traffic. Tested acc. to EN 1253-1 with 10 kN load.
  • Utilize the drain's flexibility for various joists and construction techniques. The example above shows embedding in two steps.
     
  • Use the drain's adaptability for different floor types and its adjustability during installation.
     
  • Fixtures and adjustable legs facilitate securing the drain before casting. Easy height and angle adjustment using a screwdriver.

Drains and channels always have a connection pipe and a flow path to consider. The flow path is always measured at the so-called bottom line of the pipe.

To simplify product selection, we specify the total height (H) of our drains and channels. The total height is the distance from the finished floor surface down to where the water exits the product. For bottom outlets, the measurement point is where the socket begins.

The total height (H) always consists of the depth of the upper part (D) plus the outlet part of the product. If the depth of the upper part is increased, the total height also increases, affecting the product’s flow path.

Dimensions for FURO 007:

Depth of the upper part (D) varies depending on the flooring type. Below are the measurements and relevant remarks:

  • Resin flooring: 32–52* mm
  • Vinyl flooring: 42–62* mm
  • Tiles K3: 32–52* mm
  • Concrete floor: 32–52* mm
  • Tiles K4: 26–42* mm – (D) is measured to the waterproofing level
  • Tiles K5: 42–62* mm – (D) is measured to the waterproofing level
  • Vinyl flooring on wooden beams: 42 mm – (D) is measured to the waterproofing level
     

*The range indicates that the upper section is adjustable.

The total height (H) is then as follows:

  • Resin flooring: 132–152 mm
  • Vinyl flooring: 142–162 mm
  • Tiles K3: 132–152 mm
  • Concrete floor: 132–152 mm
  • Tiles K4: 133–165 mm

If an extension part or inlet part is chosen, the total height (H) increases by 50 mm.
If a raised upper section is chosen, the total height (H) increases by 25 mm.

Slope towards outlet:
The slope is adjusted to the product and flooring type.
