Mastic asphalt channel FURO 187

Mastic asphalt channel for drainage of car parks and other surfaces with mastic asphalt as the wearing and top layer.

A durable, shallow channel designed for installation in mastic asphalt. The channel is installed above the waterproofing membrane, entirely within the mastic asphalt layer, and requires a minimum mastic asphalt thickness of 30 mm. Suitable for environments such as multi-storey car parks, where surface water needs to be collected from traffic lanes and parking areas.
 

  • Durable, heavy-duty channel suitable for vehicular traffic.
  • Reinforced edge sections with anchoring tabs for secure embedment in the mastic asphalt.
  • Screw-fixed cover plates remain stable and quiet when vehicles pass over them.
  • The channel has no built-in fall and is connected to one or more outlet sections.
  • Long, cut-to-length outlet pipe helps avoid joints within the floor slab.
  • Flexible channel length thanks to a modular design. See available modules below the dimensional drawing.
  • Car park environments are regularly exposed to road salt and other corrosive contaminants. The channel is manufactured from acid-resistant stainless steel EN 1.4404 for improved corrosion resistance.
  • Outlet sections are available in 2 m and 3 m lengths and can be freely combined with the different modules.
  • R50 For areas with medium weight traffic. Tested acc. to EN 1253-1 with 33 kN load.

  • The outlet section is designed for installation in a concrete floor slab with a pre-drilled Ø132 mm hole.

  • The waterproofing membrane is installed in line with the channel.

  • The strong, rigid construction provides durable channel sections but requires installation on a flat and even substrate.
