Entrance drain FURO 056

Robust and flexible entrance drain in acid-resistant stainless steel. The entrance drain is available in two designs to suit different installation environments – adapted for placement under a scraper mat or under a self-supporting grate.

This entrance drain is designed to ensure effective water drainage in public and commercial entrances. Manufactured from acid-resistant stainless steel EN 1.4404 (SS 2348), it offers high corrosion resistance and long service life.

Two Available Configurations

  • Under Scraper Mat – Delivered with a durable grate plate designed for heavy pedestrian traffic, including shopping trolleys and light vehicle traffic, allowing installation directly under a scraper mat.

  • Under Self-Supporting Grate – Designed for placement under a self-supporting grate.
     

Effective Management of Dirt and Water

  • The drain is delivered with two large and liftable sand traps that effectively collect sand and dirt for easy cleaning. Total volume: 4.0 liters.

  • Odor trap prevents unpleasant smells from escaping, even if the water trap dries out.

  • Backwater stop protects against flooding during heavy rain and prevents stormwater from entering the entrance.
     

Safe and Durable Construction

  • Robust design with a durable grate plate (for installation under a scraper mat) designed for heavy pedestrian traffic, including shopping trolleys and light vehicle traffic.

  • EPDM rubber seals according to EN 681-1 type Wc ensure a tight and reliable installation.
     

Flexible and Easy Installation

  • Adjustable and telescopic upper section allows for easy adaptation to floor level.

  • Designed for embedding in concrete floors, ensuring stability and long durability.

  • Removable water trap with handle makes cleaning and maintenance simple.

  • L15 For areas with light weight traffic. Tested acc. to EN 1253-1 with 10 kN load.
  • Entrance drains connected to the stormwater network are always equipped with a backwater valve to prevent flooding during heavy rainfall and to protect the entrance from water intrusion.
