Sand trap channel, width 200 mm FURO 147

Robust and durable sand trap channel in stainless steel, equipped with a removable sand trap box. The floor channel is ideal for industrial environments, workshops, and other demanding applications where efficient particle separation is essential. Available for multiple load classes and floor types.

Available in lengths from 600–20000 mm (in 100 mm increments) x width 200 mm.
The floor channel is equipped with a removable sand trap box with a capacity of 2.5 liters. The sand trap operates based on the sedimentation principle, meaning that heavier particles settle at the bottom at low flow rates. At higher flow rates, lighter materials may pass through into the drainage system.
Manufactured in stainless steel grade EN 1.4301 (SS 2333) or acid-resistant stainless steel grade EN 1.4404 (SS 2348).
Designed for embedding in concrete floors.
Compatible with various common floor types and features a 360° rotatable and angle-adjustable outlet.
The outlet section is positioned at the channel end.
Removable water trap with a handle for easy cleaning and maintenance.
EPDM rubber seals in compliance with EN 681-1, type Wc.
Stainless steel grating, divided into sections with a maximum weight of 8 kg per section.

Installation:

Delivered with protective cover to prevent concrete from entering the channel during installation.
Equipped with sturdy mounting brackets for secure anchoring in the floor slab.
For resin or epoxy floors, recess strips are included on the adhesion flanges.
Adjustable leveling feet allow for easy height adjustment from above (see installation accessories).

Variable Top Depth (mm):

Top Depth (D)* = 192, 232, or 312

192 is recommended for lengths up to 2000 mm, 232 is recommended for lengths between 2000–6000 mm and 312 is recommended for lengths between 6000–20000 mm. The channel depth (RD) then changes between 80, 120, and 200 mm.

Outlet Placement:
The standard is a gable-mounted outlet, 150 mm from the left gable, but alternative placements are available.

Please specify the c/c measurement from the left.

Drains and channels always have a connection pipe and their water flow (V.g.) to consider. Water flow is always measured from the so-called bottom line of the pipe.

To facilitate product selection, we specify the total height (H) of our drains and channels. The total height is the distance from the finished floor surface to where the water exits the product. For bottom outlets, the measurement point is where the spigot begins.

The total height (H) is always made up of the top depth (D) plus the outlet section of the product. If the top depth is increased, the total height will also increase, affecting the product's water flow.

Dimensions for FURO 147:

Upper part depth (D) can be switched between 192, 232, and 312 mm (232 mm is a good choice for lengths between 2000–6000 mm). The channel depth (RD) then changes between 80, 120, and 200 mm.
Total height (H) for FURO 149 thus varies between 309, 349, and 429 mm (349 mm is a good choice for lengths between 2000–6000 mm).
If an extension part or inlet part is selected, the total height (H) increases by 60 mm.

Slope towards the outlet:
The product's slope towards the outlet varies depending on length and chosen upper part depth. With the standard configuration and end-positioned outlet, the following applies:

• For lengths up to 2000 mm and recommended depth of 192 mm, the slope towards the outlet is at least 1 %.
• For lengths between 2000–6000 mm and recommended depth of 232 mm, the slope towards the outlet is at least 1 %.
• For lengths between 6000–20000 mm and recommended depth of 312 mm, the slope towards the outlet is at least 0.7 %.

For needs other than the above recommendations, the slope is affected.
