Last Friday, we celebrated the arrival of our new five-axis milling machine in the cutting department! Our operators Lukas, Hussain, Oliver, Marcus, and Natalie cut the blue and yellow ribbon, marking a new chapter in our production.
The DMX 80U takes our machining capabilities to a whole new level. With five-axis technology, we can now create complex components with higher precision – faster and more efficiently than ever before.
The machine features a tool magazine twice the size of our previous one and a powerful 15,000 rpm spindle with HSK 63. This ensures stability, reliability, and precision – even on the most demanding tasks.
Thanks to five-axis technology, the need for multiple setups is drastically reduced. Components that used to require five setups can now be completed in just two. The result? Shorter setup times, fewer steps, and even higher quality.
Marcus, who works daily with the machine, says:
