Welding quality system SS-EN ISO 3834-2

Welding is one of Furhoff's core operations and we have since 2012 been certified according to SS-EN ISO 3834-2: 2005. After the first 5-year period, a recertification is done on a new 5-year period, which we managed without any deviations. The current certificate applies for the period 2022 - 2027.

The certificate shows that our quality system meets the most comprehensive quality requirements for welding. The management system includes the design, production and sale of stainless steel subcontracted and sanitary products when requirements according to SS-EN ISO 3834 exist.

ISO 3834 is available in three different levels. The level -2 that Furhoffs is certified to sets the highest requirements and is used for "Comprehensive quality requirements". For "Normal quality requirements", level -3 applies and for "Simple quality requirements" level -4 applies.

For you as a customer, this means that we embed the right quality by managing the welding process in an efficient and continuous manner and that personnel, equipment and workshop comply with the strict requirements that apply.

Quality management system SS-EN ISO 9001:2015

We have been certified according to SS-EN ISO 9001 since 2006. After a successful recertification according to the upgraded version SS-EN 9001:2015, our quality management system is now certified to 2021-01-20.

At the follow-up audit 20180517, the auditor made the following comment:

  • The company has a good foundation in common values and a clear vision and business concept. Strategies for continued growth with profitability are driving. The overall goals are broken down to each department and followed up in a very good way. The commitment to continuous improvement is evident throughout the company.
  • The company has introduced daily planning, giving everyone a clear overview and opportunity to optimize resources.
  • The company places great emphasis on opportunities and employee well-being.
  • Registration of internal deviations works in an exemplary way and contributes to continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholders' requirements and internal/external conditions have been clearly identified.
  • There is very good order and clearness throughout the business. A contributing factor is the 5S groups that work monthly with improvements. The management system contributes to meeting the company's goals and policies.
  • The ability to meet requirements and commitments is considered very good. The goals and metrics used support the strategic direction of increasing sales with continued high profitability.

Environmental Management System
SS-EN ISO 14001:2015

We are certified according to SS-EN ISO 14001 since 2006.

Following a successful recertification according to the upgraded version SS-EN 14001: 2015, our environmental management system is now certified to 2021-01-20.

The follow-up audit was conducted in 20180517.

The auditor's comment is the same as for the quality management system.
